For the world's oldest teens of the
Central High School Class of 1961.
Come and celebrate our 70 years of life and friendship
at a birthday party in your honor.
Our 70th Birthday Party Celebration will be held at:
Dixie's on Grand (bar and restaurant)

Grand and St. Albans, near Dale Street
St. Paul, Minnesota
On Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at 5:00 pm.
Look for the Central crowd in the back room.
Cash bar. Appetizers provided.
Dinner available, and we encourage you to stay and
continue celebrating.

notified people by e-mail, this time - not by US Mail
(expensive). But we don't have all the e-mail addresses,
so some people didn't get the word. Sorry about that,
but it costs a lot of money to buy and mail postcards.
The Post Office just informed us that they don't carry
penny postcards anymore.
Now they cost $9.97 plus tax - each!!

on Tuesday September 28, 2010, with the social hour starting at 5:30pm,
and the dinner at 6:00pm. Program and raffle to follow.

The next C-Club banquet will be held on Tuesday September 23rd, 2008
at O'Gara's. Bobby Lewis will be inducted into the C-Club Hall of Fame,
joining Tom Barnes and Bob Glaesman.
Social hour is at 5:30 with a program to follow.

Ramsey Grade School Reunion
Ramsey Grade School held its 50-year reunion for the 8th grade class on
Saturday and Sunday, August 25th and 26th, 2007. Steve Blons, Barb Leaf,
Ardis Goldman, and Sandy Kahan were the organizers, and Barb Leaf's son
helped with the videos.
The 2-day event consisted of:
Saturday at the movies, with typical 1950s fare, plus fresh theater popcorn and candy.
An evening dinner at Barb Leaf's condo.
Sunday noon brunch at the Green Mill on Grand and Hamline, followed by a stroll
through the old neighborhoods.
Additionally, a DVD was shown of Rosie Tenenbaum's old home color movies
from 1948 to the mid 1950s with 1950s music added, (mostly kid's birthday parties,
but fun to see). "Sh-Boom" worked well for the ice skating parts...
It was also good to see those we rarely see (2007 and 2006), such as Pam Wilhelm,
Carolyn Olsen, Sally Morgan, Linda Shoemaker, Susan Ross, Barb McMahon,
David Kramber, Bob Jersak, and Carl Pink. Perhaps Judy Pinkerton and
Susan Meinecke can attend in the future.

C-Club Annual Banquet

The next C-Club banquet will be held September 25th, 2007 at O'Gara's Garage.
Social hour is at 5:30, and the dinner will be served at 6:30.
We are excited about the new venue, menu and great prizes that will be raffled off
at the banquet.
The class of '61 has been well represented having 3 past presidents: Dave Sweeney
(2 years), Al Ruvelson, and me (both 2 years.)
In addition, both Tom Barnes and Bob Glaesman are in the C-Club Hall of Fame.

Ramsey Grade School Reunion
Ramsey Grade School held its 49-year reunion for the 8th grade class in June of 2006.
A tour of the school was given by the principal, and afterward, everyone met at the
St. Clair Broiler for lunch. Steve Blons setup the event.
A second opportunity was hosted by Barb Leaf in September at her condo..
